This movie is a must see
Wanted, starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, and Angelina Jolie, is slated to be one of the best blockbuster hits of the summer- bar none. This film was action-packed with screen-blazing special effects, sexy heroes and villains, and intense bullet-bending fighting sequences all wrapped into a great storyline.
From the start, one may be compelled to think that this movie is going to end up being a knock-off version of the Matrix, but once the plot gets rolling you can sit back and enjoy the movie going experience of a life time.
James McAvoy plays Wesley Gibson, the protagonist, who lives the meager existence of an anxiety-riddled, under-achiever, who has the tendency of allowing people to walk all over him; that is until Fox, played by Angelina Jolie, enters the picture and turns his life upside down.
The Fraternity, which is a secret society of specially trained assassins, is led by Sloan (played by Freeman) and their mission is to balance the universe by playing the role of death dealer to those individuals who are unfortunate enough to have their names decoded by the master weaver’s loom. Wesley finds out after an attempt on his life that he is the long lost son of a member of this secret society, and that it is his destiny to join the organization and continue on with his father’s legacy.
In the midst of the intricate tasks of training and carrying out the assignments dealt by The Fraternity, Wesley becomes plagued with the obsession of finding the rogue Fraternity member that murdered his father. The drama, action and plot twists that ensue are enough to keep viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the entire movie.
Wanted was definitely a movie that will appeal to the action-movie junkie.
Angelina Jolie excels in the role of the vixen that shoots first and asks questions later, while James McAvoy proves that he is well on his way to becoming one of Hollywood’s next big action heroes.
This movie is a must see and gets a very enthusiastic ten spirit-fingers!
