Congratulations to Debbye Coklow, customer service manager, Roseville Banking Center, who was named the Fifth Third Eastern Michigan Employee Volunteer of the Month for June. She was chosen for her outstanding efforts as a volunteer mentor for the Young Bankers Club.

“I had never been a mentor for Young Bankers Club before,” said Coklow. “It was a very rewarding experience. I loved working with the kids, teaching them not only basic financial skills but life skills as well. I was honored to talk with the parents who were amazed at what the kids were sharing with them from the program. I would definitely do this again. Even if I was having a bad day, working with the kids would really lift my spirits.”

Coklow and future monthly winners will be featured in a new publication, “The Shining Star Report,” a quarterly newsletter that will feature charitable organizations where employees volunteer.
