Bishop Charles Craig and Bishop James Moore
 Bishop Charles Craig
 Bishop James Moore Bishop Charles Craig, pastor of Craig Memorial Tabernacle, and Bishop James Moore, pastor of Walker Memorial Church of God in Christ, recently died.
Services for Craig, who was also a member of the Craig Brothers, a famed gospel music group, were held on July 12 at Second Ebenezer Church, as well as a musical tribute. Craig and his wife, Wanda, led the church for many years. He was also a board member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, where he had also served as vice chair of Security, Nurses and Ushers.
Services for Moore were held on July 12 at the Cathedral Conference Center. He died on July 5. Moore served as pastor of Walker Memorial COGIC since 1994, a position to which he was appointed by Bishop P. A. Brooks. He and his wife, Edythe, had been married for 45 years.
Moore, a Detroit native who was educated in the Detroit Public Schools and Henry Ford Community College, served in the ministry for nearly 45 years.
Moore was the state and national adjutant for the Church of God in Christ, district treasury for the Miracle District and member of the State Screening Board.
