The challenge in managing your career and family’s day to day
Fifth Third understands the challenge in managing your career and family’s day to day in these tough economic times. Fifth Third listens to its customers and builds products and services that are ready to make life a little easier. We are in it for the long haul with our customers and work with them throughout all cycles of their lives to ensure that our products are innovative and just a step above what our competitors offer. For our faith-based organizations we have programs tailored to assist in the growth of your members and give them the peace of mind that comes with knowing they can count on us to be their trusted advisor.
In our premium product area we have two new products designed to help your members save and assist with rebuilding credit that has been damaged due to these hard economic times. Our Goal Setter Savings product is product designed to help you begin saving over time. The product features no minimum balance requirement and no monthly fees. It pays interest on all balances up to $50,000. The customer is able to set a dollar goal for the account between $500 and a maximum of $25,000. A reward for meeting your goal is paid in an interest bonus equal to the amount of interest already earned since account opening. The account must be open for a least six-statement cycles before the bonus can be paid. Customers can open multiple Goal Setter Savings (one for each savings goal). No ATM withdrawals or transfers are allowed and no online bank transfers. This aids in keeping your saving consistent. You can designate a portion of your direct deposit or schedule regular transfers from your Fifth Third checking account to fund your Fifth Third Goal Setter Savings Account.
Getting a good start on your financial growth and building or rebuilding a good credit history is a challenging task. That’s why Fifth Third offers the Secured MasterCard. It is an excellent way to help you establish your credit record and reach your future financial goals. By making regular payments, you build or rebuild a good credit history. Fifth Third Bank will report your payment history to all three major credit bureaus. Here is how the card works:
• Guaranteed with a deposit held in your name with Fifth Third Bank savings account; this amount serves as your credit limit.
• Use the card to make purchases or to get cash from an ATM.
• Purchases and advances are charged to your credit card account, not deducted from your savings account.
The two products previewed are also a part of our Faith Based Membership Banking Program umbrella. It is a program available to all faith-based organizations that have or are looking to develop a depository relationship with Fifth Third Bank. In the Faith Based Membership Banking Program trusted advisors of Fifth Third are available to come out to your site to give your members free financing seminars and credit rebuilding clinics. Fifth Third Bank in Eastern Michigan has 90-plus Financial Centers available six days a week to service you now and in the future.
