BY POPULAR DEMAND, PANCAKES & POLITICS RETURNS FOR A SECOND SEASON
Detroit, MI – The Michigan Chronicle and sister company - Real Times Media announced today that the celebrated forum Pancakes & Politics will return with another 4-part series in March 2007. Promising more pertinent discussion on hot topics that affect the metro-Detroit community, the series will highlight a variety of current, pressing business, civic and political issues.
The Michigan Chronicle and Real Times Media launched the series in 2006 and brought together a successful media partnership between the newspaper, CBS/CW, Crain’s Detroit Business and WWJ-AM. All media partners have signed on for the second season. The Michigan Chronicle will once again serve as the host, and the series will continue to air on the CBS/CW network’s Michigan Matters television show.

“Pancakes & Politics serves as a needed venue for generating new ideas and provoking thoughts that will continue to push our community forward”, said Michigan Chronicle Publisher Sam Logan. “As a voice in the community, Pancakes & Politics is positioned to be a true multimedia resource to meet our audience within any communication platform.
The Michigan Chronicle and Real Times Media will provide an added feature for patrons of the event. Beginning with the 2007 series, consumers will be able to purchase a DVD of each forum, individually or as a boxed set.
The forums will take place on March 22, April 19, May 17 and June 21 of 2007.
