According to the Detroit Public Libray website, library staff knowledgeable in career and employment issues is assigned full-time to the TLC Center at the Main Library to assist job seekers in choosing resources and identifying additional resources located throughout the Library system.
These same services are also offered at the Parkman branch, located at 1766 Oakman, near Linwood.

The main branch of the Detroit Public Library is located at 5201 Woodward Avenue and is open Tuesday-Wednesday, Noon - 8 p.m.; Thursday-Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. It is closed Sundays and Mondays.
The Parkman branch is open Mondays 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Tuesdays 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesday 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.; and Thursdays and fridays 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. It is closed on weekends.
