On Wednesday evening, Detroit police arrested Andrew Hutson, 31, club manager of AllStars, a topless bar, for employing a 14-year-old girl as a topless dancer.
The manager has been charged with child sexuality abusive activity, a 20-year felony.
According to police, the unnamed girl, who suffers from mild mental retardation, had allegedly danced at the club for two months. During the nights she worked at the bar, she told her mother that she was staying at a friend’s house. When her mother found out her daughter’s whereabouts, she went to the club, retrieved her and called police.
In a press conference earlier today, Chief Warren Evans stated that he is seeking to have the club shut down.
