Humble Pie: Clear Channel Radio brings Darcell back to Radio
Category: Community - Original Published on Wednesday, 06 February 2013 14:28 Written by Michigan Chronicle

According to sources close to Frankie Darcell, Clear Channel Radio has hired back the legendary radio personality, after an abrupt termination in early December of 2012. While the ink on the deal is still wet, Darcell will have her same time slot on mix 92.3 and to sweeten the deal, Clear channel will also air the show in Philadelphia bumping shock jock Michael Baisden.
Wondering what caused Clear Channels change of heart? Well wonder no more. Apparently since December the radio giant has suffered significant revenue losses due to advertisers pulling out. It is also said the station received incessant complaints from Darcell's devoted listeners regarding interim midday host, Mr. Chase. Stay tuned for more updates, as the story develops.
