What we call Black Culture today is non-existant and truly is a bastardization of White Culture, typically a bad one at that. There is little to nothing in the way of Black Culture as one use to think of the term, i.e. Harlem Renaissance. There were social messages and conscious-raisi ng in shows like 227, Good Times, even Archie Bunker or Red Foxx.. There was some semblance of Black Pride and Afro-centric thought in the shows, literature, and music and art of years past. Hip Hop Culture has been either muted, sold out or coopted; we've gone from Public Enemy to Justin Bieber, typically with the help of a once-famous Black artist who has crossed over for the benjamins. Everything is for sale in the good ol US of A, pride, intellect, integrity, even one's soul. People watch this crap because its who we are, "Drama Queen Nation" on steriods. Folks can't handle or don't actually have any business because they to occupied with somebody elses. That's the moral of the story.
