Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and Interdenominational Assembly of Churches
Community Fun Fest presented by DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital, will bring food, fun, health screenings, entertainment and more to the Belle Isle Casino on Sunday, August 16, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Receiving has partnered with Kingdom Alliance Covenant Fellowship, Interdenominational Assembly of Churches, Interfaith & Hope Coalition and Craig Memorial Tabernacle to present this free event, sponsored by Fifth Third Bank. Community Fun Fest is open to everyone.
“Caring for the community is a major goal for every faith-based organization and doing so in today’s financial climate is a real challenge. Detroit Receiving Hospital has met the challenge head on with the Community Fun Fest event,” said Bishop Gregory Foster of Kadesh Baptist Church and Kingdom Alliance Covenant Fellowship. “Detroit Receiving has worked with us to create an event that addresses the needs of children, adults and entire families at a time when many organizations have closed their doors or cut necessary services.”
