MC: How did your parents feel about your career path and the movies that you’ve starred in, being that they’re both pastors?
BTJ: They’re very, very supportive of my career. They’re parents first.
MC: What morals have they instilled in you to help you with career?
BTJ: It’s more about instilling faith, about principles, that in believing that you can do anything that you want to do in life. That’s how I got this far.
MC: What do foresee happening for you in the future? What projects are you working on right now?
BTJ: I don’t know what’s going happen in the future. I’m kind of nervous about this weekend, that’s why you’re hearing some angst in my voice. I’m very tired. I’ve been going in London, I’ve been everywhere talking about this movie. So I’m kind of nervous but at the same time, just chilling.
MC: Why are you nervous about the movie?
BTJ: Oh no, the movie’s a great movie! Anytime it’s opening weekend, you feel angst. It’s like running for president almost. It’s all about numbers baby! (Laughing)
